Here at Negreet, we are constantly making improvements,
so come and visit us often. If you have thoughts of suggestions for
improvements, be sure to let us know. Hope you enjoy your visit. I am a 1971 graduate of Negreet High School. I attended Northwestern State University and graduated with a BA in 1974. I began teaching at Negreet that fall and have been here ever since. I received my Masters Degree in 1983. My wife Penny and I have three children: Candy Branam, Wendy Thaxton, and Wade Salter. Both daughters teach school in Sabine Parish and Wade attended school at Negreet and is now enrolled at NSU. We have 5 grandchildren: Courtney, Chancee, Colton, Katelyn, and Kelsey. We attend Beulah Baptist Church. I hope this has told you a little about me. I would like to invite you to stop by our school, whether it's to take a look or to talk with some of the faculty. There are a lot of educational opportunities for students here and hopefully your child will be one of the many who receives them.
